Taking a small roadtrip today to the other side of the state to do some stuff for (who really needs to post now and then, especially with his current events being what they are).

Anyway, for some bizarre reason is accompanying me today. I told him he's insane, and he agreed and said he still wants to come. Ah, I could use the company, and I can always try to get him to see if we can get updated on APRS on the way.

4 hours into my shift, and my pager has sounded over 76 times. I've logged into about 40 machines today doing various things. People may complain that us geeks make all the cash, but ya know, we earn it though :->

I just got home. followed me home, he was asleep at the wheel the whole time. eek.
Anyway, that's the first confrence I have been to where the remaining attendees were escorted out by a cadre of armed police. 🙂

All in all I had a great time. Not much immoral activity was going on, just alot of pranks and minor vandalism. Learned alot of stuff too.

Awoke to fire alarms. Apparently the police were here last night, and all kinds of shit went down last night after I went asleep. More to follow.
