chances are the brake light is due to air in the system. you got a squishy pedal? if the fluid is low, much higher chances that there is now air in the system. just adding fluid (while its a great idea to keep the level up to spec) may not make the light go away. but if its low, go ahead and add, just to make sure.

didn't see it 😛 I've been dealing with air in the lines with my Saab for a while now, my pressure bleeder makes the job oh-so-much easier 🙂
